Ariele Alasko Makes These Creative Wood Sculptures And Home Decor Items
Sculptor and woodworker , has created an impressive collection of modern wood abstract sculptures and home decor items like brushes, trays and candle holders.
A sculpture major graduate from the Pratt Institute, Ariele started out creating items out of her own apartment using just hand tool after she graduated in 2009, and then in 2012, when she started to get commissions, she moved into her own studio in Brooklyn.
After living and working in Brooklyn for 11 years, Ariele moved to the west coast, where she works full-time on her one-of-a-kind pieces.
Ariele works with woods like maple, walnut, ambrosia, and some pieces, like the brushes include horse hair.
